Berkeley Mid Century
Nestled beside a creek in the Berkeley Hills, the site around this jewel box home had limited allowable building space. Adding an arresting vertical second story, restructuring the interior, and opening the living space to its lush natural surroundings transformed it into a contemporary, open, mid-century modern home. With Sho Sugi Ban siding and Henrybuilt cabinetry throughout, this sensitive re-design enhanced the original core geometry to uncover a modern gem.
